For benefits that require enrollment (such as medical, dental, and vision), you can only enroll or make changes during specific times:
NEW HIRE & PROMOTION: Upon hire or promotion into a role with additional benefits eligibility, you’ll have 30 days from your date of hire/promotion to enroll in benefits. Upon promotion, if you become eligible for new benefits, you must take action to enroll in coverage. Your current coverage may no longer be applicable and could be dropped if you take no action.
OPEN ENROLLMENT: All benefit-eligible employees have an opportunity to make changes to their benefits during Chipotle’s annual Open Enrollment. All changes made during Open Enrollment are effective for the following plan year, January 1 through December 31. Open Enrollment typically begins in November each year.
QUALIFYING LIFE EVENT (QLE): In some cases, you may experience a significant life event that allows you an additional opportunity to make changes to your benefits including adding or removing dependents. These events, known as Life Events, require supporting documentation and include marriage/divorce, welcoming a new child, change of coverage, and more.
Chipotle provides you access to Calm Health, your no-cost dedicated mental well-being app, designed to provide structured support for stress, anxiety, sleep, and other everyday challenges. But there's also the Calm app (which is different, not as cool, and not provided).
